Do I have to sign any contracts, or commit to a monthly schedule?

There are no session contracts, or monthly commitments required. Use our service only when you need it.

What CPT code is used for OCT’s?

The CPT code is 92135

What is reimbursement for Medicare?

92135 is a unilateral procedure and Medicare reimbursement is approximately $40-$45 per eye, depending on your Medicare Locality*.

How often can OCT be done for Glaucoma, OHT’s & suspects?

Once a year, except for low tension glaucoma which can be done every 6 months*.

What if we have a snow day?

We will make adjustments to your invoice so it will not affect your bottom line.

Is there a minimum amount of patients we need to schedule?

Yes. 12 patients if you are within 60 miles of our office, or 24 patients over 60 miles.

How many patients can you see per hour?

6 per hour.

Do the patients need to be dilated?

A 3mm pupil is required.

If I decide to purchase an OCT, can the images be transferred to my OCT?

Yes. Your database is transferable to your new Optovue OCT.

What if I book a full day, but only had enough patients for a half day?

You will only be billed for the time we are there.
